Fox-Dog Anyone?

I personally think this is amazing!! I would love to have a fox for a pet/hunting dog.

Kind of cool but like any wild animal, even if it is a couple generations from the wild can be unpredictable. It takes many many generations to breed that out of them. I would never bring something like that into my home, especially with kids...

I agree with you mtman. However they have bread these for over 15 generations, since the 50's. I subscribe to the magazine where they have a detailed acount of the change in characteristics from one generation to the next.

The article did not say how well these "domesticated" foxes can hunt pheasants... That could potentially be the ultimate bird dog.
