I'd posted a few days earlier this year's successes, which included a nice 4-pt. brownie shed. I'd worked the vicinity of the shed for several hours to no avail. I decided to go back to the extremely dense and rugged pinon juniper where I'd found the shed, unfortunately with the same result. Imagine my surprise and amazement, when I stumbled the last few hundred yards across an open, rocky slope to my vehicle...there's the MATCH right in front of me!I know now why I'm kinda addicted to this "horn huntin'" game!

Great! I love to match em up, too bad all the lonely singles don't all have as happy ending as this. Well, I guess I can only speak for myself, but I have a bunch of big lonely singles from over the years. Nice job finding the needle!

way to stick it out and keep looking for the other side. i've got 6 singles this year that forces me to loose sleep. 2 mule deer horns scoring over 80 inches a piece and then also 4 whitetail sheds that would be great sets to match up. Congrats on the set and keep it up. Find the horn Goose!

Congrats Pete on finding the other side. One of these days I'm gonna come down to Pioche, or wherever you live and have lunch with you. fatrooster.
