I was the only person watching this group of bulls, however there was a bunch of people watching two smoker bulls up a popular canyon here in Utah county. The same 4 guys were camped on them for hours. I am leery about posting scores on this site, however both of them I believe would go over 380".
If one of them would have dropped it would have been a mad dash to the top of the mountain. Maybe i'll be able to get the sheds off the bull in the pic, the bull has been in the same 2 canyons for a few weeks now.

Happy hunting

Sliv,

I sent you a PM. Did you call for back up packin that thing out! Its even got a G1!!!

I'm being completely serious when I say this. Thank you for keeping your distance and waiting for the bulls to shed naturally. I know how tempting it is to try something to hurry things along, but you show your integrity and ethics when you give the animals their much needed space.

It's pretty sad when you have to carry a gun to go shed hunting anymore. There's just so much competition that you never know what kind of testosterone poisoned idiot you'll run into. I think I'll just stay home and wait for the sheds to start showing up on eBay. It's alot cheaper, easier, safer, and you can pick which ones you want. Another good tip, if you want a really big antler, save your gas money up, then when the antler buyer comes through town you can buy something from him. I'm just trying to do my part to lessen the stress on the other shed hunters.

Ya I crept up on a small herd that I glassed from like 1000000 yards away at least and I thought that the two elk that I could see were bulls that had shed. Well when I got up to the elk there were about 30 elk and only one was a bull, a small 5 pt. So the elk that I was glassing from the bottom of the canyon were really cows(kinda dissapointing). The elk didn't know I was there, so I backed off and went back to where I saw this bull. I didn't have much time to stay and watch them, so I will get back up there later this week.

I pack every time I go into the MTNS just in case.

These bulls were up SF canyon BTW.
