Forgot the camera.

I backpacked into my favorite area for elk sheds and in my excitement of getting ready, forgot to bring a camera. I like to take as-they-lay pics to remember how the antler looked and how elated I am when I walk up to them. Well I was pretty sure I would find something. Wasn't easy though, I walked in the rain Saturday for 10 hours and found a five-point from last year. Sunday I found a six-point from last year. I found it early and tied it to the pack frame and kept looking. Around noon I found a set from this year and I was getting tired so I left the area. This year has been great so far. I have more exitement and adventure when I antler hunt I might use my hunting vacation in the spring rather than the fall.

'hunterof'....i know just how you feel...every 'find' is just like 'the first time'...sweet 'finds' you have there, and good pics....thank you...i like find'em, but i like lookin' at others just as much (almost)..
