My son and I just spent 6 plus hours changing the plugs on my 2006 F-150. Took our time to make sure we didn't break one off. If anyone needs to do this, it's not too bad if you take your time and use liberal amounts of Aero Kroil while backing the plugs out. At 16 bucks a can, I thought it was outrageous, but now believe it's the miracle elixer. These plugs had almost 97K and that's the remaining carbon buildup the Aero Kroil didn't dissolve. I'd still like to get my hands on the Einstein that came up with a spark plug pressed together in two pieces!

At 165K I was starting to feel Guilty & changed Plugs for the first time!

Woulda went another 100K easy!

Let me warn you about the good ole Ford Triton series!

I've seen this happen many of times!

Right after somebody changes the Plugs usually!

They sometimes blow the New Plug & all the threads out of the head destroyiong the Coil in the process!

PUNK has been know to drive a V-9 at times!:D

Yes,V-10's are nothin more than a 5.4 with 2 more cylinders!

PISS POOR design!

When CUPSY said He'd rather walk than drive a Ford, well, sometimes you gotta walk cuzz there ain't no other Choice!:D

Hey bessy, how long did it take you to change the plugs on your cummins?

I'll tell you who it was . . . it was that D@MN Sasquatch!

Well kawboy!

That CUMMINS is approaching 300K now!

Still getting 20 MPG!

Not a bad Spark Plug yet!:D

Let's list what that CUMMINS has had done to it:

The day We Bought it I put a 100 Horse Chip on it,I like extra 'USEABLE POWER',never a problem & bumped the Fuel Mileage slightly!

At 125K I got Nervous on the Lift Pump & Me & one of my friends which is a Certified Dodge/CUMMINS Man installed the Pump that goes in the Tank!(Dodge had a Re-Call on it & Gave me the 400.00 assembly!)

It has Ate 2 Water Pumps,39.00 each & took me 15 minutes each to change them!

There's an idler Pulley up near top of the Engine that We changed out at 225K,39.00 & 10 minutes for me to change it!

There ain't another piece of anything besides Filters & Oil that's been touched on that CUMMINS Engine!

One of these days she's gonna fall apart!

It'll take 3 Chevy's & 5 Fords to make one Truck as good as that one!

There Ain't been an Engine as Powerful and as Fuel Efficient or reliable as the 01,02 & 03 24 valve CUMMINS Running a mild Chip!

End of Story!

Cummins is a great engine, now if they could figure out the rest of the truck they would be in business..
