For all of us

Yup!

Let's Wait Till We Get Time!

Let's Wait Till The Body is So F'D Up We Can't!

Let's Wait Till We Are Older!

You Know!

When We'll Have More Time!

Thanks DM!

My Dad passed last year from Covid while in assisted living. I couldn't go see him inside for 4 moths then he passed. We did go to the window, but I wish in 2019 I had made many more trips.
I'm visiting my Mom much more now and helping her to sell her house. They haven't lived in it for 2 1/2 years. I had her yard sale this weekend so we spent lots of time together. I even went and visited her last evening. I've spent more time listening and giving love and attention to my wife. Another song has these lyrics-
And in these days
When darkness falls early
And people rush home
To the ones they love
You better take a fool's advice
And take care of your own
'Cause one day they're here;
Next day they're gone

I pulled my coat around my shoulders
And took a walk down through the park
The leaves were falling around me
The groaning city in the gathering dark
On some solitary rock
A desperate lover left his mark,
He said "Baby, I've changed. Please come back."

It sticks in my throat too often and usually it comes out cheesy or leaves the recipient uncomfortable because I make it sound self serving but I try anyway. Some of you know what I’m trying to say.

Thanks DM, great post!

Thanks Elk, life is better when you don't spend as much time buying and playing and spend more time with family.

Don Henley?

Has anyone ever heard an old person on their death bed say..

.”I wish I had worked more”?
