Went for a midday hike on Cove mountain yesterday with my 3 year old...we walked up on 3 bedded bulls. The bugs were so bad none of the three bulls could hold still. One kept jumping up out of his bed jumping and kicking like bucking bronc! I've never seen anything like it.
I hope the bugs die off before the hunt starts in a few weeks!

HC - Unbelievable how bad the bugs are this year. I heard that it's a bumper crop year for mosquitos and after this past weekend I believe it. For those sitting in tree stands or ground blinds I would invest in a thermocell!!

Skeeters are as bad this year as I've seen them in a long while,almost Alaska bad!

Hope We get a hard Frost right after Feather Flippin Season!

For GAWDS Sakes Guys,We Got Kids on this Site,Some of them are 65 years Old!

I don't care if they're big or small!
If they throw lead I like em all!

Is Cove Mtn. just above Cove, Utah? If it is, that used to be "grandpa's hill". Obviously, grandpa lived in Cove at the base of that first mountain.

I have never seen the mosquitoes so bad in my entire life. I work in the mountains every monday. I bought a mosquito net hat so that I could stay sane out there while working.

Better watch out if you have a "nature call" it might not be an easy task to do.........LOL
