Fletching contact with Shakey Hunter

I continue to have a problem with my fletchings hitting the edges of the drop away portion of my Shakey Hunter. It has a relative small effect on accuracy, but beats the fletchings up pretty good which, after a while, does have a pretty big effect on how my arrows fly. I have tried everything I can think of to get this squared away -- even taking it in to the shop for a complete reinstallation. I've tried shooting ##### down, but that seems to make it worse. My bow is a BT Allegiance, 70 lbs. Any suggestions?

I have not had any problems with one on a hoyt xtec. Do you possibly have it too tight, leaving it up too long and not giving it time to drop away??? When in the down position is it completely level with the arrow shelf? If it is not then it may not have enough room to drop completely out of the way. Adjust everything up by about half an inch and try again. Do you have the pull string for activating the rest tied two to three inches lower than your arrow plane? If it is tied level then it won't drop as quick. I am just grasping at straws but I thought I would throw out some ideas??? Good luck.

Apply lipstick or something similiar around the rest. As the arrow leaves you will be able to identify the missing lipstick. Might tell you alot and/or how to align your vanes to miss it.

Guys -- first, thanks a bunch for the tips and ideas. Second, this is pretty funny. Maybe if I had talked about shooting it ##### up, intead of down, they would have allowed it. Makes it kind of tough to talk about flecthing alignment.
