I'm a deer hunter from Arkansas wanting some advice.I know to shoot the big ones but how about some other clues. I am so afraid that I will shoot the first one I see and then be sick. I am going to the Texas panhandle. I was told we can expect to shoot something like 14"-15" probably. I have been shooting 2 or 3 days a week and am getting pretty excited.

There are a couple of videos out that tell you how to field judge antelope. Eastmans is one of them. A short summary....you want the horn length at least twice the length of the ears and you can use the eye to help judge mass. You want long diggers as well. Goodluck, fatrooster.
