First elk sheds this year

Don't ever give up or get discouraged...because hunting's ALWAYS an adventure! I pushed my antler score to 93 on the year today! BUT my FIRST elk sheds all year! (and thought at first I had a matched set).

Nice job Pete! Do you horn hunt all year or do you just keep your eyes peeled when you are out there doing other things? I often catch myself looking for sheds every time I am in the hills, it has paid off several times!

wow great finds, ill be moving to reno in the next couple months and i cant wait to try and find some nv elk sheds, we hit some spots for deer a couple weeks ago outside reno and my ol' lady skunked me, found 3 and i found none. one was a 4 point that was still perfectly brown and the other one was 160 class 3 point. no sets tho
