Looking for advice on theses areas for my sons first deer hunt. We are planning on getting off the road a few miles. we were wondering how the deer herd is there. Any help would be great.

I used to hunt 50 a lot. I don't think it would be a place I would take my son unless you are looking for a fater son camping with a remote chance at a small deer. I never saw a good buck in about 10 years of hunting there. I was mostly hunting for Elk but I shot a lot of 150 class bucks. Those days are gone due to the wolves. Ron
