first day moose shed hunting

First day out scouting our secret spots for moose. Didn't expect to find anything, just looking for tracks and beds. Nothing like starting the season out right! The first shed was right on the side of a road with just a dusting of snow over it. The other...well that is my monster! First non-typical moose antler I've found! It is massive, 16 inches around at the thickest spot. Better find the matched side tomorrow!
