First Archery Deer

Here is my first archery deer from 8 years ago. It was during the rut and she was the lead doe in the group. I did about a .5 mile stalk to the area that they were passing through for water and then made a 45 yard broadside shot.

It really depends on what they have been feeding on. Take a muley that lives along river bottom farm land next to whitetails and they taste similar. Take a muley from the sage/cedars and they will taste quite alot different IMHO.

Thanks, it tastes fairly similar to me. I like the jerky the best though.
