First Antelope

I hunting antelope for the first time this year in Nevada. I had a great time and took this buck opening day. He only presented me a frontal shot and I didn't dare wait after seeing how fast these animals move once they are spooked. Thanks to the four or five people here on MM that gave me advice on where and how to hunt.

Congratulations! Thats a nice buck, especially for a first time. It certainly bigger than my first. How long were the horns on that boy?

I'm not certain where to measure but the measurement I did was about 14". I'm very pleased with the buck - he is at the taxidermist getting a shoulder mount. I really enjoyed this hunt and I look forward to WY in a year or two and maybe even AZ in the future.
