Close but no cigar! I'll throw out a hint as this is a tough one I think. You are looking for the burr and eye gaurd side and not the antler tips.

Ding Ding Ding!

You are correct. When I initially walked by the spot from where the photo was taken I thought "No that can't be an eyegaurd" and it was. Here is a couple other ATL photos. The great thing about this find is that I was able to match up a set! I found the first antler about a hundred yards away a couple months ago and this one must have been covered in a snow bank. They are last years sheds.

Here is my friend holding both. When I found the right side I was thinkin that the buck was smaller but when I found the left side on Monday I was pleasently surprised.
