I went up into a secret spot (wink, wink) today and found a few mountain goats. There are two goats in this photo. I had to look for sometime before I saw them. I will post in a few days with the goats circled. Thought this might be a fun primer for the few who actually draw a goat tag, lol.

And here are a couple pics of some young rams (Rocky Mountain) that decided to be quite photogenic at the bottom of the canyon.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-08-08 AT 11:43AM (MST)[p]It looks like one goat is in the lower right corner, standing in some snow just above a patch of sage. The other goat looks to be in the lower center of the picture, right above those lower bluffs. If I knew how to draw circles, I'd circle them.

The goat on the bluffs look dirty gray. The goat in the lower right looks white, but stands out away from the snow and does look sorta 3D.

How'd I do?

Looks like I'll have to take the kids up the canyon this weekend. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Elk shed?

shouldn't be any elk in here.

I will post the picture when I am on another computer that has the pics on it.
