Finally

I was finally able to get out yesterday and do a little hiking. I found seven in all but i lost one of them when it fell out of my pack.

I had found a small hard white four point and started looking around for the other side. I looked into a draw and seen a nice buck packing on side. He took two steps and the horn came crashing to the ground!! My heart was pounding out of my chest! I have never been so excited.

I back tracked him for about 300 yards until i lost the track and i never turned up the other side.

Inspite of a weak front he has a 22 inch beam, excellent mass and scored 76.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-17-09 AT 03:23PM (MST)[p]Dandy sheds. I have lost a couple too. By the time you realize it, its to late. Congrats on a monster brownie! I have only seen one deer shed. Its pretty awesome when you see it.

I want to add that it is great that there is hardly any snow in the pics. The deer down south this year are looking great!
