Finally drew a mule tag

Finally applied and drew a tag after years of wanting and wishing I could go out West on an adventure. Looks like I am heading to 444 this year with my bow. Pouring over the maps now, looks like I need to work on legs more! Have any of you been there? Planning on basing out of my truck and putting in the miles hiking.

First year to enter in Colorado. Been applying here in Texas for several but various things have kept me from going out of state until now. Have had the desire for a long time but life…

I’m not surprised at all by that. Def not asking for spots etc. but would like some insight on what the weather is like in late Sept in that area and what not just so I know how to pack!
