Just curious what kind of arrow setups everyone likes to use on elk and deer. I use a 28.5" Easton Axis 340 with a full wrap and blazer vanes with a 125 grain slick trick broadhead. The whole setup weights about 444 grains and im going to use them for deer, elk, antelope and bear. Id use them for any of the big three providing I get lucky and draw this year.

Im trying the axis also with a wrap and blazer vains with 100 grain magnus stinger. Elk and deer. shooting 280fps.

I am shooting 29.5" ACC's out of my xt, right at 420gr. I use a 100gr tip and for Elk I'm using Montec, mule deer i'll shoot wac em's, and for coues i'm going to try the tekan II.

I prefer to shoot ACC's with 100 grain thunderhead broadheads. It's worked flawlessly in the past and if it ain't broke it doesn't need fixing at this point. Hope all you other guys find a great combo that works as well for you.

I use Goldtip 7595's with a 125 gr magnus stinger 4 blade. 429 grains total weight. Shot from a switchback at 68 lbs.

I will be using Goldtip 7595's expidition's with 100 grain wacems, and shooting at about 65 lbs. This is only the second year that I have archery hunted, and have not filled a tag yet with a bow. So I will have to take and let you in on how it does after the hunt, that is if I am able to fill a tag.

I have been using the Full Metal Jacket from Easton for the past 3 months and love them. With a 100 grain Wac'em they weigh 470 grains @ 294 FPS (90# KE). And they pull out of a target very easy. I shoot a Hoyt Trykon set at 82#

ismith,
I can't say enough. I shot Hoyt's for over 15 years and last year I shot a Bowtech and a Mathews and liked them both. But I love my Hoyts. I had Kevin at Payson Sports (now he works at Hoyt) do a Wilkey super tune and picked up 8 fps. This set up is by far my favorite to date. Hoyt Trykon, Trophy Taker Original, Sure Loke lethal weapon, Carter quckie, Fuse Quiver, FMJ Arrows and WAC'EM Broadheads.

Very dissapointed in the wac'ems arrowed 3 pig's last weekend at under 20 yds and 2 were shot with wac'em just behind the frontleg and only got about 9 to 12 in of penetration, the guys back at camp said the wac'ems don't hold up on heavy animals and gave me some stingers to try . same shot placement on the next pig and got a complete pass thru, I'm using a bowtech liberty at 60 lbs 29 in carbon /100 gr wac'em's, switched to 125 gr stinger, glad I found out b/4 elk season.

I tried these new arrows last year and absolutely love them! Patriotsportsusa.com I shoot the "pro" series with 100 gr Muzzy and quick-spin vanes.

I shoot 27 inch XX78 2314 with a 125 grain montec. Just under 500 grains at 270 fps.

Gold Tip Pro Hunter 7595 with 2.5" Vanetec vanes and a Wacem 100 Grain broadhead. The whole set-up weight 405 grains, legal in all states, and shoots 308 fps out of the Bowtech Tribute.
