I was wondering if anyone knows the boundrys really really well if you would please send me a p.m. I have a question about where I can hunt and where I cant, if anyone who knows would please help a guy out

hey justice, ive been hunting the extended for many years and the basic boundries are pretty simple.it extends from brigham peak to the point of the mountain at corner canyon.and all of the ext.is east of i-15.here in salt lake it goes eat of i-15 to the salt lke county line, which is pretty much the top of parleys.i do not no where it acually ends up in the north.ogden, layton, etc east of 15.now ther is the uinta basin which ends some time this month but not sure of that boundary.also for elk u hane the west desert and down by manti but dont realy no those boudrys but i think those 2 are for elk only.also in case you may not no,southe of i-80 to corner canyon and east of i-15 to slcounty line is all archery only.but just please do not hunt to close to houses cause we are getting a bad rap caused by a few irresponsible people who feel the need to hunt someones back yard.the future of this great opp.to hunt big bucks in the rut is dependant on all of our behavior...hope this all helps you a little .good luck. feel free to send me a pm if u want more help..

There are no grey areas to the boundary. It is very distinct and impossible to be confused. Let me know where you are talking about and I can show you on a topozone map.

Cheers,
Pete

Where can a person get a decent extended hunt boundry map? I tried the one on the DWR web site and i couldn't get it to size up and work. I'm planning on trying it this year to see what a later hunt will be like. I've heard good and bad about this hunt.

In the proclamation it lists the boundaries in written form. I would recommened a USGS map and use it to follow the boundaries. That's much easier then that map they have posted

Exactly! just buy any good map and then use a sharpie to follow the written boundary. We are going to lose these extended hunts if we can't "stay in bounds". Good luck and keep informed.
