This hunt came to my attention recently. Its in central South Dakota and has both mulie and whiletail.

Anybody know anything about it?

Venison and Zinfandel are GOOD!

East of the river you have mostly WT west of river you have Both with a lot more Muleys then Wt.
But people go out to hunt Muleys pass up Wt and some of them get really big.
West river has some great Wt in the Riverbreaks and Black hills.
Standing Rock Rez has some great deer hunting on it for both.
I like West river hunting in the riverbreaks and creekbottoms the best. I wouldn't pass up a Good Buck no matter if he a Wt or muley.Pennington,Perkins,Harding,Butte,Meade,Corson counties are all good for deer.Stanley used to be good but it to close to Pierre and it gets hammered pretty good.
Some of the big ranches down in Mellette area have been doing pretty good on huge WT down around White River.

East River is good anywhere along Hwy 29 running North to South for Wt
Any other questions feel free to get in touch.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".
