Euro Trip...

So a buddy and I are in the process of planning a full week of crazyness in London, Amsterdamn, and wherever the hell else we end up...who's been to Europe, where have you been over there, what do you recommend, and what have you done?? I have a feeling Feleno is going to give me the most solid advice

If you go to Amsterdam you can always check the menu in the coffee shops, then when you're finished there you could always do some window shopping but, keep in mind the sales people are real pro's so it's gonna cost ya!

~Z~ You are in luck as I just returned from Europe. You must see Buckingham palace, Hyde park,The London Eye, West Minster Abbey,Parliament and the changing of the guards. The afternoon was topped of with tea and crumpets and then off to Phantom of the Opera.

I HAVE BEEN TO 9 COUNTRIES THUS FAR IN EUROPE, MOVE AROUND A BIT. HIT THE BEACHES IF AVAILABLE, EAT, DRINK, MEET MARY. EVERY COUNTRY IS DIFFERENT.........PARIS & LONDON ARE A MUST. THE LOCALS ARE INTERESTING.....MOST WILL TALK TO YOU BEING AN AMERICAN / SOME DONT WANT YOU THERE. A WEEK THERE HAS ME WANTING TO GO TO WYOMING TO HUNT REAL BAD..........BUT WE ARE GOING BACK !!! GET REAL FAMILIAR WITH THE EURO MONEY EXCHANGE,THE PUBS ARE GREAT, HAVE YOUR DOCUMENTS IN ORDER..................HAVE FUN........................YD.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-07-12 AT 12:40PM (MST)[p]been to the UK,London,, France,Paris,, Spain,some southern town,,, Amsterdam and Bavaria. Got to Bavaria(southern Germany)and visit some castles. You can check out Hitlers hide-a-way in the Alps. Nurenberg has a naked in the window red light district that rivals the one in Amsterdam. Amsterdam can be a real party. Like they said uptop in one of the other post's check out the menu's. You can go on a trip and never leave the table....

It takes along time to see all of Euro. I decided to go south as of the advise of some local MEN if wanted to have a GREAT TIME. Go south into Italy working yourself to the islands of Greece. When yo reach Paros head to anti paros for the real night life. This no Amsterdam.It's were the younger crowds go to have Holiday.Yes it is a true mens holiday"wink" If you do this there must be a full and detailed report.Plus greece is dirt cheap.

If your only going to have a week than I believe London and Amsterdamn will consume your time. We spent 10 weeks in Europe and barely scratched the surface as there is so much to do and see.

Never been to Amsterdamn but have friends that have, you should have a grand time.

My favorites so far, Barcelona Spain, Nice France, Amalfi coast of Italy, and the one place that really surprised me was Istanbul Turkey. Originally I had no desire to go to Turkey but was pleasantly surprised and would enjoy going back, especially Kusadasi a way cool city and since they are not part of the EU your money goes further.

Hated Athens Greece but the Greek islands are pretty nice if you visit with your wife or girlfriend.

All of that being said, I think you would be best served to focus on Ansterdamn if crazyness is what your looking for as it's all right there.
