Escalante sheep info

Does anyone have any info or experiences hunting the escalante arm of lake powell? Headed down with a friend who's son drew a tag and has limited time due to school, never hunted sheep before but from what I have heard it can be challenging. Any recommendations would be gladly appreciated thanks.
