Eotech sight

I am looking into buying an Eotech for an AR-15, possibly the 512 model. Anyone have any other recommendations? I am not set in stone on this sight.

Wheres the best place to buy?

I have a Eotech 512 on my one of my Ar-15s. I think the sight is awsome. I have only shot with it about 5 times so far. At 50 yards I can get about a two inch group. At 100 yards I can get a 30 round mag in a 6" - 8" group. I'm sure with some practice i could do a little better. It's only one power so at 100 yards your dot will cover almost the whole target. It sure is fun to shoot and go plinking. I got mine from BearBasin outfitters.

I like the new one that has the 3X magnafier ( sp? ) that can flip out out of the way. To bad it's almost $1000 for the set.

Looks nice, did you have to buy some type of mount for it or did it mount right onto your flat top rifle?
