I've been getting my unsuccesfull notices in the west part of the state each year. This next year I'am looking at unit 39 or 40 for the type 9 archery hunt. I wasn't sure what the elk hunting is like in those areas. I'll call the bioligst this year to see what their thoughts are but I wanted to see from people on this sight how it was first. I just wanted to know if good public access and if it gets hit alot on the archery. I know everybody is looking for the biggest bull on the mountain but I have yet to shoot my first bull. Just looking for something over 300' Thanks, Marc
