Soooo, what's up with 111? Lying between 16 and 22, I'd think there?d be some potential...Private/public checkerboard in some of it, but not all bad...Very few tags though!

Must be pretty dang good bc its only 14% draw for residents with 80+% success rate.

Area 111, the Seminoles, can be a great hunt for 300-320 class bulls with the outside chance at a 330-340 bull. Tag quotas in this area have greatly fluctuated in recent years so look for an uptrend in the quota before you apply for this unit.

I've never had an issue finding elk on public there....

Yes. I have hunted the unit.
I know some land owners.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-27-19 AT 06:12PM (MST)[p]I saw 2 herds of 10 - 15 Elk in 111 on publc when I was deer hunting (unit 87) there about 5 years ago. Both herds had a bull about 300" with them. I could have killed either one easily. That was in 6 days of hunting though.
