Elk Unit 1 Late

Drew a late season Nov 25-Dec 1st tag. I will be able to go scouting one time and then probable four days immediately before the season begins. If anyone has hunted it and is willing to give a little help it would be much appreciated. Just in case this helps i am not a road hunter and look forward at attempting to get away from most hunters if possible.

The NW corner of the unit closer to Vernon is a great wintering area that holds some good bulls that time of year. It's relatively flat and open with some cedars, but if you hunt hard youll be rewarded. You wont find as many other hunters here as you might someplace else in the unit.
