Elk sheds

Is anyone willing to let me know of an area where I can find/ search for a couple of elk/deer sheds for a cabin. I live in the salt lake area.
I want to collect them myself, I dont want to buy any from anyone, sorry. I am not going take over someone spot I just would like to find some myself. Please help I will be very grateful and I promise not to tell the world thanks for any help.

if you don't want to buy them and find them your self put your boots on go to the mt. and start hike'n. someone tells you a spot next thing they know 25 more guys are there fighting over a rag horn

I understand your concern. We all have stories of spots that have ruined by over hunting/fishing or what not. I just would like the reward of finding some myself.

my best advice i could give you without giving away any of my spots is hop in your car when snow flies find your elk and dont tell anyone.... and keep tabs on them and come march youll be solid
