ANYONE SEEN ANY ELK DROPPING YET?? I'VE BEEN WATCHING SOME BUT THEY STILL HAVE BOTH SIDES.
 
All still packin around here. I have yet to even see any muleys that have dropped. They should start soon, I hope.
 
I have picked one set of fresh elk up. still early for them to really start dropping though. Have not really seen much else dropping.
 
I have seen elk dropping everywhere here in Colorado, especially visible on top of all the snow here. Even got some fresh dropping stuck in the tread on my boot the other day!! :7
 
Just kiddin around, all the bulls I've been seeing are still packin so far here.
 
I've picked up a set over 400 so far but the rest are still ridin high on there heads!!!!
 
Me too midhoof ... don't be postin' 400" nonsense with out the proof. Let's see the photo's.

I'm sorry but I can't post a photo at this time. WE'VE been watching this bull since the rut and picked his horns up last monday. Sunday he had horns, Monday he was just a cow with a big neck and head. 2 hours later bingo, but the other 25+ bulls in this area still have there horns as of tonight. So hopefully a family member, good friend, or some lucky hunter draws a tag and gets to kill this bad boy and then I'll show the photo's next year(it would tell a great story uh). After going on Mossback website and looking at shed records he would be number 2 on the non-typcial set of sheds with no inside spread.

you can't post a pic why??? someone will dna scan off their computor and find the location of the bull?? come on man you can't come on claim'n you found a 400" SET and not put up a pic....

They may scan the dna off my computer, you can't trust a nerd now days. I guess I got a little excited about the find he only scores 383 6/8 without a inside spread measurment(GROSS). Off my video I would have to say he is no more than 48" wide no less then 43" wide. But you never know? His spread maybe only 16" and that would leave me short of the 400 mark. So maybe after 60 days of drying I'll score him again and then I may post the photos. So then everybody can tear them apart.

Question: Is mossback going to be at the show march 13th---16th maybe I'll have him score them because I know I'm more conservative than he is, including B&C scorers.
 
Since gas prices will be going up this summer and fall. I thinking that I will hold a viewing of these sheds somewere in Utah $25 a ticket!!! and this will go towards my scouting fund for 25 dollars you can view them, measure them, and for a extra 5 dollars I'll let you take a photo with them.

Let me know on your post if this is a good idea?

You guys are starting to piss me off!! But not going to happen yet!!!! but I may give you a tease in a couple of days. I'm too busy watching for other 400 bulls to drop there bone

me too i was watching so many 400" bulls today i am not sure how i am going to be able to get them all out of the woods.everyone knows there is a 400" bull around every juniper tree.....picture or zip it!!!

This post reminds me of the guy in college who said he had a hot girl friend who you never seen. As soon as you did you new why he never showed her to anyone. I think this guy is the same way all talk and when we get to see them we will know the truth. He might even be the guy who had the ugly girl. lol

WOW! A 400 inch set and 25+ other bulls still packing!!? That sounds like a lot of BULL!!...uh I mean bulls.:)

I for one could care less about seeing your elk sheds, especially some goofy shot of you holding them...or holding anything for that matter. Geezuz...

Well to change the subject and answer the original question of this post, yesterday I was watching 11 bulls, none over 400", and 4 of them had already dropped both sides. All are on private ground so I couldn't have picked up a shed if I wanted to. Still it's pretty crazy that they are starting to shed this early. I'm in central Utah BTW

My buddy went out saturday and found about a 320 five point. There were about twenty bulls in a group and he was the only one that has dropped. It is pretty crazy how early the deer and elk are shedding.
 
You guys are somthin else..... What you don't think that 400 inch bulls drop their antlers? You don't think that there are bachelor groups of bulls with 25 in a group? You don't think that someone picks them up?
Sounds like Middlehoof is out doing his home work. Maybe some of you guys should get out more and not be so quick to jump on a fellow MMer. But then again it wouldn't be Monster Muleys if everyone here wasn't so quick to attack. Thats why you will never see mine... Congrats Middlehoof on finding a world class set of sheds!! Were they layin side by side?
 
I've got a few sets. Massive heavy pricks. I'd post pics but i left them in the mountains where i found them. it's not legal to bring em out yet!
 
No,ghog, to me it seems like mhoof ISN't doing his homework or going to school for that matter. A fifth grade somewhere is missing the class tard. He'd be alot better off getting an education than acting like some complete dope on this web site. Can't post a picture? Why? Cause he's full of BS that's why.

Sometimes I really wonder about myself wasting time with some of this crap. Lord have mercy...
