elk sheds when?

I think I am in for a family vacation to pheonix area and then over to Albequrque around the first of April and was thinking maybe sneak out for some elk shed hunting. Will they be dropped by then or am I out of luck. Tks nwhunter

i find my big guys in that late march but found a couple on early march but our big time here in wyoming is that first half of april is our best time.
