heres a shed my dad found while we were elk hunting 2yrs ago a real beast this bull has almost no deductions and if the other side was identicle it would net over 400 easy. this is my brother holding it he is 5'9" found in New Mexico.

nice shed amd maybe it's just the picture but i dont see how that would net anywhere close to 400. main beam looks short and the tine length looks to be just average, also average mass.maybe 320 - 330 gross. but like i said maybe it is the angle of the pic. anyways every shed is a good one in my book.

That gets the heart going!!!

I would say off of 330 bulls at max

Never the less a good shed!

Nice find but but the fronts are a little small and looks like it has short main beams. I would say a 320 to 330 max.

Nice shed man but here's a true 400+ elk shed, 190" worth. 63" beam, tons of mass and point length. 15lbs worth.

Wow, Josh what a shed. I would probably walk myself to death looking for the other side.

Thats not even close to a 400 bull. You must be knew to sheds because that is only a 330-320 bull. But thanks for sharing,

LAST EDITED ON Feb-25-05 AT 10:25PM (MST)[p]I feel sorry for the kid that started this post. He obviously doesn't know much about scoring them but heck when I started hiking the mountains if I had found a shed like his I would have thought it was the biggest bull in the woods too. In time I figured out that I knew nothing about scoring them and in time I learned and my addiction grew to what it is today. Keep it up dude and I'm sorry if it seemed like I was putting your shed down cause I wasn't really. My intention was to show you what a 400"+ bull really looks like. Keep lookin'!

PS: I do have the other side but the entire beam is missing above the G2. Now that REALLY HURTS!!!!
