Elk Question

Researching next years elk hunt. How long is the elk general season? I found this years opening dates/unit but not season length. I know I have just overlooked it.

Here are 2010 dates. The 2011 dates will be finalized in April, but likely won't change much.

It varies depending on where you are hunting. Two weeks is a good rule of thumb but not set in stone. The website will have this years season length posted in the official regs later in the year. Last years may be up, not sure. What units you interested in? Seasons close at different times and are any bull, any elk and antlerless specific. This is what makes Wyo so nice for the hunter that has time and ability to hunt multiple areas. The length of season is great for the guy that is willing to travel.
