Everyone has a different definition of a good hunt. Whats yours ? Are you willing to apply in the special draw ? If you are, with 4 points you'll be able to draw about 80 - 90% of the Elk units in Wyoming.
A good hunt would be getting a chance at a 300 plus bull and having a amount of good access. I want to shot a bull and if it came down to it would settle for larger rag horn. A hunt that gives a good chance at killing an elk.
Again, if you're going to apply in the special draw you'll have many more options. I'd suggest checking out the units in the Bighorns -35,37,38,39,40,45. You could draw most with 4 points. lots of public, good access, good elk numbers. no (few ?? ) wolves, no grizzlies. With some effort you could kill a 300 incher in any of those units. Much larger are killed each year. GOOD LUCK. Chip
