Elk Area 1

Any of you ever hunted elk in this area. It is up near Newcastle. I have been hunting antelope and deer up there before. Was wondering if anyone has taken any good elk from there?

I would assume it is about like the South Dakota units. Excellent hunting for low 300 class bulls, but hard pressed for 350+. Draw odds are also bad.

i grew up in it and 300 is a little guy. i've never hunted it because i've never drawn it
