Elk 98 & 24

Can anyone tell me why the season is so early in area 98 and how the hunting is there,and how hard is it to draw 24. I have 5 points now. Also is the hunting that good. Just trying to decide on somethings for this year or the next.

most of the elk in 98 are in the wilderness, you need a guide or resident friends to hunt it, Its rough country and huge, thats why they have the early season.

Unit 24 was a 26.09% draw with the max of 5PPs in the Regular Draw last year and 81.82% in the Special higher priced draw with max PPs.
