Gentlemen,

Does anyone have any useful information on the Murders creek unit for archery. My brother and I drew the tag and are not familiar with the area. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not a bow hunter but I know the unit well. I'll be there in rifle season.

Lots of elk , lots of public land and from what I hear lots of bow hunters. there's water everywhere and there really no place off the valley floors that won't have elk. quality isn't what it used to be but it still decent. the north part of the west side is steeper and less roads. the east side has some wilderness and is rougher for the most part. there's some huge burns over the last 30 years on Strawberry and some newer ones on Aldrich. pretty open still in most of those areas.

PM me if you want something more specific, but honestly just look at the map and find a spot you think you'd like and go there. it's somebody's honey hole.
