Hello MM'ers..Its about that time again to head out to the hills for the best time of the year.. at least my favorite anyway. I'm somewhat new to the area and was just looking for a few tips. I live in the Estes Park area and have done pretty good for the two seasons i've been here but i'm kind of looking for some input on some areas north of here. I really like this area but i feel like i'm shed hunting in someones back yard. I think these animals hang out in town so much that they don't get out to the hills to shed they just shed in and around town. So I was just wondering if anyone has some inputs unit 19 or 191 or the Red Feather lakes area or even north of there by the Wyoming border. I have no problem with drive time just as long as I get away from people. I wouldn't have a problem even driving to the western slope later in the season. Just kind of wondering if you guys have had any luck in the past around these areas? Thanks for any input you guys have on this area or anywhere around here. I moved out here from Idaho and don't have anyone to shed hunt with either so if anyone ever wants some company in the hills give me a shout. Thanks again...
