Earliest Deer Season?

July 9th was the opener for archery here where I live. Two days ago a swap hunting buddy shot this very nice blacktail on my property.

There can't be an area that's more early that us is there?

Venison and Zinfandel are GOOD!

Nice blackie....Nope, don't think there is an earlier season. I miss hunting those critters but sure don't miss the heat and the meat bees!

Answer to your question is yes, and I already hunted the first go around this year. We have a archery season OTC in January every year here in AZ.

Got our second season coming up soon in August! Will have the 3rd one in December. Gotta love it here.
