My first hunting rig was a 1961 VW Beetle with a roof rack. Full skid plate undercarriage. 36hp. It took me everywhere I needed to go. I paid $600 for it. I even towed my duck hunting boat behind it clear across the state several times. I tied my 8' pram on top if I was lake fishing. It was also the family car.
