Drop away Rest

I just bought a new Hoyt Ultratec with XT2000 limbs and I am looking to buy a new drop away arrow rest, is there anyone out there that would have any suggestions on a brand and model for this set up.
Thanks.

I shoot the mathews LX so I don't pretend to know anything about the hoyt's, but I do know that the Muzzy zero effect works great. I like the Muzzy and picked up a lot of accuracy the day I put it on. The obvious benefit is never having to have an arrow fall off a fork again.

We use the Trophy Ridge Drop Away and love it.. Another good one is the Rip Cord.

Can't go wrong with a trophy taker. I've shot one going on 4 years and never missed an animal because of arrow falling off. I have just plain missed which is another story.

Me and all my hunting buddies use Trophy Takers and love them. I have never heard one person that has used the trophy taker make a bad comment.

I used the trophy taker shakey rest on my old bow, but I decided to try the trophy ridge drop zone rest on my new bow. After shooting with both of these rests, I would go with the Trophy Taker Shakey rest. Way durable and not at a way high price.

Thanks everyone, I am going to go with the Trophy Taker, sounds like way to go.

NAP makes one specific for the hoyt bow's. Basically a quicktune 4000 dropaway, with the hoyt name on it. But since it is specific to the hoyt bow it has a more pricy tag. I do not see too many people recommending the nap dropaway's. I have a new hoyt bow as well and was wondering if it is worth it to spend the extra $30 bucks or so for the one that nap makes for the hoyt or to just get the regular nap quicktune 4000 dropaway? I have also heard that people who have the tt shakey hunter rest on their hoyt bows have had to make some modifications to the rest, because of fletching clearance issue's. Heard they had to trim up the prongs a bit. Any help on this issue would be appreciated. Thank's, bruce

Bruce my wife & I both use the NAP drop away rests. She had to get the Hoyt model because of length restrictions on her bow. Both of them work flawlessly and save the $$ and buy the Nap. Most of the guys I shoot with use the Nap but the trophy taker is an excellent rest as well.

Bruce I sent you a reply and hope it works. If you have any issues let me know and I'll try to help. Good luck!!

I'm not real worldly on the drop away rests, but I just got a doodle drop and it sure is nice. The thing I really like is that it's stout and sure shoots well.

I just picked up the Ripcord rest I love that it is like wisker biscut that it wont let your arrow fall off and it shoots great as well.

I used a Ripcord rest on my Mathews Conquest and it was tremendous. I picked up a new Outback with the cable rollers and found that it did not allow the rest to fall quickly enough, had to change to a Trophy Taker.

Hey I use the NAP quicktune 4000 and love it. That said I picked up a whisker bisket(sp) for the wife and she loves it. Some of my hunting buddies have gone away from the drop aways and gone to the wb. Just a thought.

I have the NAP Quicktune 4000 drop away by HOYT and it shots very well. Quiet, fletching clearance, and the arrow doesn;t even fall off at steep angles. I can almost turn it 90 degrees either way and it stays in the rest. I shoot Gold tip 5575. I'd reccomend the Hoyt because it fits the new TEC risers much better and has a Hoyt cableslide that just replaces the OE slide. Easy install and good shooter. Go with it.
