LAST EDITED ON Aug-25-04 AT 09:47AM (MST)[p]Who here uses the drop away style arrow rests? I bought one a few weeks ago and I really like how it performs. Seems to shoot a little straighter and faster.

I'm on my second one. I shot with a trap door for about a year and switched to a trophy taker this summer. My groups did get better going to the trophy taker. I had nothing against the trap door I had, I just wanted to try something different and I think the trophy taker really made a difference.

My brother and friends use them. My one friend that came down from PF to hunt antelope with me had a awesome set up on his Trophy Taker. He took a aluminum arrow split it up and opened it up a little and put mole skin on it. When he puts his arrow in it it fits snug and he can even rotate his bow without it falling off or moving. When he pulls back it doesnt hinder it from coming up. Awesome set up. I am checking into how he made it so I can put one on my bow.

Shooting the Drop Zone. Purchased it about seven months ago. So far so good.

I love mine too but it was a pain to setup. I had some timing problems at first but after that it was fine. I really like that all different broadhead that ive tryied have shot like my practice tips

I also shoot the trophy taker and love it. The first time you set it up it can be a pain but after you have done it, its a breeze. I like the fact that I can put as much helicle on my arrows and not have to worry about clearence problems.
