Hey they are up and i am not going to hunt elk in Wyoming this year! O well.
Who drew what? I would like to see who got my tag. Put in for unit 31. Maybe next year

Drawn for Elk 78 and am going to enjoy this hunt a lot. The season dates are long but not sure any quality bulls are in 78 until migration kicks in late October or later. Has anyone hunted 78? I imagine I will wait a long time to ever get drawn for 78 again so should I bite the bullet and hire an outfitter/guide?

Put in for unit 007, another point awarded. Maybe I'll have luck in the deer and antelope draw.

I'll be around there some were, Kid says he wants a bull this year so I'll start up on top and work my way down.

That sounds like a good plan.If no snow I might try the same-don't want to get stuck like last year.
This time,due to high fuel prices,I might leave the Jeep and the camper at home provided my local friend will rent me her trailer at Slater.
Also, my nephew and his buddy can't make it this year 'cause of school. So there go my elk packers.
