Had that happen to me 15 - 20 years ago in the Snowies. I got way behind the pack and ended up in a mess with a young bull. He didn’t like me being on his trail. I got nervous and reversed quick, into a not so good spot and got stuck ! Luckily the other sleds came back and eventually he left me alone. They can be pricks !!!!

I heard they are damn near blind though. That might have something to do with it?

That could be. I have never hunted a Moose and not too savvy about them. I'm always a little jealous of the guys who have taken a Moose. I like the flavor very well. They are huge beasts just like Buffalo though and I would have to get something more powerful than my .270, lol.
