Dolores Triangle Deer

My Brother has a rifle tag. I have hunted this unit in the past. I know it's weather dependant as far as quality. The forecast is warm and dry. Wondering if anyone has some thoughts about this year, or have seen many deer on the unit? We are hunting Thanksgiving weekend.

The hunt was tough. The weather was great. My cousin talked to a hunter that hunted the first 6 days and went home early with tags soup. Saw some small bucks. The unit is weather dependant for sure.

That hunter was probably my buddy. That hunt is extremely weather dependent. I have been there 6 out of the last 7 years. Out of those 6 years 4 were really good and 2 were really bad. They need to make this hunt about 3 weeks long IMO.
