DIY whitetail

I'd like to try hunting white tails this fall. Is there any over the counter tags in Wyoming ? Is there any units with lots of public land? I also wouldn't finding any ranches that sell trespass permits! Any help would greatly be appreciated !!

You'll have to wait until July when the leftover tags go on sale online on a first come, first served basis. Your best bet for a whitetail may be up in the northeast corner in Region A, but there are whitetails in many of the lower river drainages throughout much of the state and those tend to be private property. Try calling a couple of the G&F Offices in that part of the state and see if they can give you a lead on some ranchers that allow hunting as many don't like whitetails.
