Try the Barbwire under the 6th south off ramp. I don't know about the food but the scenery is ummmm ... ok.

Seriously Market Street Grill is pretty tasty ... La Frontera for mex ... try some of the micro-brewerys ... Squatters etc. They are all downtown.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-02-09 AT 09:31PM (MST)[p]If you like authentic German food, try Seigfrieds Deli on 20 W 200 South. They have wienerschnitzel (and I don't mean hotdogs), brats, warm patato salad and spaetzle w/ brown gravy. My mouth is watering as I type this! They are only open until 5:00 or 6:00 though.

Right downtown:

Spencers for steaks.

Market Street for fish.

Mexican - drive over the 15 on North Temple and try Red Iguana.

Microbrew - Squatters is can't miss, and Redrock is good (a bit more trendy than Squatters though)

If your into high end, Bambara or the place in the Grand America are expensive.

Youve also got PF Changs and Macaroni Grill within walking distance of the EXPO.

how about any good ol western steak houses?

Thanks 4 all the suggestions..
