I just want to get peoples opinions on this subject. For all the people here do you have multiple bows? What I mean is one bow for hunting and one bow for competion. I know a lot people go to the different professional bow shoots and also do a lot of hunting. Do you use the same bow for both? do you have different bows? Do you use the same bow but change your set up between hunting and Bow shoots? I personally use the same bow, I started out doing bow shoots and have got away and started concentrating on hunting more. I would change my basic setup as far as poundage and stuff like that.

HullinPhx, I shoot the same model bow for hunting and 3D but each is set up to shoot a different arrow. I shoot a Hoyt Ultratec and it has been a good bow for me but I have two. Quite a few guys just shoot the same setup for both and it works well. I did this for quite a few years. It also keeps the expenses down and to be honest, that's exactly what I should be doing today because I'm not into speed and my bow only shoots around 285 ft/sec for 3D. It was an excuse for a new toy and I had a few bucks that were burning a hole in my pocket!

I used to shoot one bow for both, but I usually mix in some turkey hunting and hog hunting in during 3d season and got really tired of switching my setups.
