Diamond fork cow elk

Does anyone know where the elk are in diamond fork? I have hunted a big part of the unit and can only turn up big bulls and deer. So if you could Point me in the right direction.

Third year in a row this hunt looks like a total bust!
Last years hunt success was about %5.

Was a darn good cow hunt in 2008/09....

Last year a few moved in for the later hunt after it snowed.
The elk herd in Diamond/The waters/Tie fork, is GONE..

jut keep buying those two for one cow tags,,,then ask where is all the elk???

I was down there this morning & saw about 50 cows, but they was way high up on the face!!!

If your talking about the ones on Maple mnt, That's a
different unit. ( Springville)

That is the herd though that some crossed over to Diamond
last year in January.

Yes, they was above Mapleton..... from there to hwy6 up on the face

Ah! Ya that's a steep bugger!!! The elk are hanging out right at the top where there is still snow.
