Devil's Garden Question

It's been a long time since I hunted there, or even been there for that matter. I was thinking of throwing my scull boat in the truck and heading over for the waterfowl opener Oct.9th.

I was wondering if anyone had some fairly current intel on fishing the reservoirs in the Garden? Duncan, Res. F, Res. C, Jane's Res., etc.. I know that some have good trout fishing at times, but in the past I was always after the geese only. Any info on what baits work?

I've been on the NF website but about all they say is "trout present", with no current info.

If there is something you can share, I would appriciate a PM.

If anyone is going to be in that area at that time, it would be great to meet you in person.

Thanks.

Res "C" is low, lots of weeds. About 20 honkers and 50 ducks were calling it home 10 days ago
Res F looks good for fishing. Lots of water.
antelope res... Dry
Fairchild, mostly dry.
Last year while antelope hunting we saw thousands of ducks and a thousand honkers on the Garden.
this year, only a hand full of each where we were.
good luck.

Thanks. I heard there were lots of birds last year. Duncan is the one reservoir I fished one time with my Dad. We had a great time.

Eel, I sent you a PM.
