back in 2002 i was trying to decide where to put my deer blind. i was checking trails to see which ones they were using. i was walking through some sage brush and found a horn. it was a large 3 point with a ball of horn at the end and also looked like part of it was busted a the end. this was in August of 2002. i told my dad i was going to get him. all through the archery season i was after a small 4x4 but never connected with him. the last day of season i changed my approach on oct.14. i sat on a hill 30 yards from a trail where this small buck walked. at the last minute of light a nice buck walked out and i shot him at 45 yards. when i got the buck home something looked odd. i went and grabed that shed. the bases are the same. the burrs are. when you look at the lines of the shed to the deer it was all alike. this buck must of did something in velvet to mess himelf up. he has been shot before. that is what cause the droptine. he had a really big bruise/old hole, that proved he had been shot before. he scored 133 p&y. you probaly cant see it good but from the base to the first point there are those lines{texture] are in the same spot as the deer head.same design in same spots.
